Military Families

As a military family, we know that serving our great Nation comes with a lot of sacrifices, including financial ones. No one joins the military to get rich! In order to help make home birth affordable for our military clients, we offer a sliding-scale fee schedule, beginning November 1st, 2023. The cost is broken down by sponsor paygrade as follows: 

For Home Birth:

E-1 to E-4: $250 Deposit; then $250 per month*

E5 to E-7: $400 Deposit; then $400 per month*

E-8, E-9, 0fficers and Retirees: $500 Deposit; then $500 per month*

We also offer special pricing for military moms who only want to see us for prenatal care! 

Prenatal/Postpartum Care Only:

E-1 to E-4: $150/month

E-5 to E-7: $200/month

E-8 and up (and Retirees): $250/month

*Based on 8 equal payments. If you join us later in your pregnancy, we will extend the payments until the total fee (not counting deposit) is paid . Total "out of pocket expenses for home birth are $2,250 for E-1 to E-4, $3,600 for E-5 to E-7, and $4,500 for E-8 and up. These amounts are in addition to the amount that TRICARE contributes to your care, and are available to TRICARE Select patients only.
